Show up, Kick Doubt Out and No BS Today

I went to the gym this morning and it felt like another day. Nothing spectacular. I even started my workout and the thought crept in my head and said “man, I’m not really into this today”.

So, I told me brain to SHUT UP, SUCK IT UP and STRAIGHTEN UP. After all, today was a new day and I woke up grateful and happy and I definitely wasn’t taking no for an answer.

Your health will scream and stomp your feet at you if you let it. And that’s the truth of the matter.

But YOU get it dictate what your body will and won’t do today. YOU get to decide how to fuel it, whether to let in distractions and negativity and YOU get to engage your mind of positivity while you squash what your thoughts are trying to tell you if it’s not coming from a place of self love.

Which means, your heart is a long stronger than your head when you listen to it.

Back to dealing with health, even though I did miss a couple of days here and there at the gym, I did manage to watch the diet by eating clean whole, unprocessed foods, made sure I got enough protein and EFA’s (essential fatty acids took my CBD oil to help with anxiety (that stuff is truly amazing!), fed myself full of non social media garbage (careful, there’s tons out there!) and went to bed at a decent hour. Actually, I’ve been hitting the sheets quite early these days.

It’s funny and fascinating that your body will tell you exactly what it needs if you just listen.

If I can do it, YOU CAN DO IT!

Due to chasing a dream (actually more that one!) and neglecting my own health, I haven’t taken time for myself to exercise (until recently back on track) and look after my mental outlook. We are all not immune to getting caught up in things that don’t matter….much anyway.

So I am right in that moment with you. You can pick up those pieces, you can make progress, you can decide to show up and not take no for an answer. No BS, just a willingness to improve our lives one day at a time.

I am also living it right beside you to help you along the way.

Never, ever give up my beautiful friend, because great things take time.

Remember, a diamond is a piece of charcoal that handled stress exceptionally well to become something beautiful.
